Sitting in the dentist’s chair for the very first time is a big deal for little people! So if your child is scared or even teary, rest assured this is completely normal. The best thing you can do is trust the dental team. They’ve seen it all before and will do their best to make sure your child is comfortable and as relaxed as possible during their visit. The first consultation will include a gentle examination of your child’s mouth, teeth, lips and gums to check for normal development. Your dentist can also answer any questions you may have regarding maintaining to child’s oral health.
As your child grows, their consultations will include having their teeth professionally cleaned and polished to remove plaque and tartar. They’ll also be given a safe application of fluoride to strengthen their teeth against decay.Does your dental centre bulk-bill dental services?
