About Dr Monica Manori

Graduating from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, in 2008, Dr Monica Manori began her dental career in a high-demand private hospital, where extensive experience was gained in general dentistry, including complex surgical procedures and wisdom tooth extractions. In 2010, a move to New Zealand led to the successful completion of registration exams through the University of Otago, followed by full licensure to practise in both New Zealand and Australia.

Over 15 years of clinical experience across Sri Lanka, New Zealand, and Australia has provided a well-rounded foundation in dentistry, with particular focus on dental implants, root canal therapy, crowns and bridges, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign. A commitment to clinical excellence is supported by ongoing professional development through numerous advanced training programs. Certification as an Invisalign provider further reflects a dedication to delivering modern, patient-centred care.

Practice experience includes a range of roles in private clinics across Auckland and South Australia. In 2018, Dr Manori founded and led MoonStone Dental Care in New Zealand, establishing a reputation for providing high-quality, compassionate care. Since relocating to Australia, the focus remains on helping patients feel confident, informed, and at ease throughout their dental experience.

Professional affiliations include active membership in the Australian Dental Association, New Zealand Dental Association, and Auckland Dental Association, maintaining strong ties to professional standards and ongoing learning.

Outside of the dentistry, her life revolves around family. A teenage son and an energetic German Shepherd keep home life lively.
