Grounded in broad clinical experience and guided by a genuine desire to help people feel at ease, Dr Mark Makram brings a calm and thoughtful approach to everyday dentistry. A graduate of James Cook University in North Queensland, Dr Makram has practised across a wide range of settings, including Cairns, Townsville, Darwin, rural Northern Territory and Bowral.

Experience in rural Australia, combined with volunteer dental work overseas in communities with limited access to care, has shaped a clinical approach that is adaptable, patient and deeply attentive to individual needs. Providing care for patients of all ages, Dr Makram has a particular interest in paediatric dentistry and supporting anxious patients through gentle and reassuring treatment.

Each appointment is guided by clear communication, respect and a focus on long term oral health. Taking the time to listen and explain treatment options helps ensure patients feel comfortable, informed and confident in their care.

Outside the clinic, Dr Makram enjoys staying active through tennis, football and a wide range of sports, and is actively involved in his local church community. This people focused outlook naturally carries into the way he cares for his patients.
