About Dr Farahnaz Fatemi

Dr Fatemi is a passionate and experienced dental professional who graduated from James Cook University Dental School in Cairns in 2013. With over 11 years of experience in both public and private practice, her approach combines clinical precision with a genuine commitment to patient care. In addition to her hands-on work, she has contributed to the academic side of dentistry by teaching and supervising dental and oral health therapy students—helping shape the next generation of oral health professionals.

Active in the dental community, Dr Fatemi is a proud member of the Australian Dental Association and a dedicated mentor to new graduate dentists. Supporting young professionals during the early stages of their careers has become a meaningful part of her journey. Her passion for giving back also extends beyond dentistry, having taken part in volunteer efforts to support the education of underprivileged children overseas.

Creating a space where every patient feels seen and respected is at the heart of her practice. With a deep appreciation for people from all walks of life, Dr Fatemi welcomes individuals from all social, cultural, and religious backgrounds with open arms and an open mind.

Outside of work, life is filled with creativity and adventure—whether it’s dancing, reading, watching movies, or walking with music as a companion. Travel is a true passion, especially the thrill of discovering places never seen before. Most importantly, life revolves around her greatest joy: being a proud and devoted mum to her wonderful son.
