About Dr Cara Highfield

Originally from Sheffield in the UK, Dr Cara completed both her Bachelor and Master of Dental Surgery at the University of Leeds before relocating to Melbourne. She has been working with Primary Dental for almost two years and enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients, believing this makes dental care more comfortable and rewarding for everyone involved.

Dr Cara provides comprehensive general dentistry for patients of all ages, including preventative care, crowns, bridges and dentures. She also offers Invisalign and teeth whitening, and is confident in managing more complex procedures such as root canal treatment and tooth extractions. Known for her calm, non-judgemental approach, Dr Cara takes pride in helping anxious patients feel relaxed, supported and at ease throughout their dental visits.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Cara enjoys travelling and exploring new places, with her move to Australia marking an exciting chapter both professionally and personally.
