Beginning his dental career in India before establishing a new professional chapter in Australia has shaped a grounded and adaptable approach to patient care, with Dr Sharath Chandru bringing a strong appreciation for making people feel heard, comfortable, and confident throughout their dental experience.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences in Bangalore, Dr Sharath spent approximately four years practising in India, including undertaking community dental work. Following his move to Australia, successfully completing the Australian Dental Council examinations allowed him to continue his clinical journey, with ongoing learning and professional development remaining an important part of his career.

Creating a welcoming and comfortable experience is central to how Dr Sharath practices, particularly when helping patients understand their oral health and treatment options. Taking the time to listen to individual concerns, explain treatment clearly, and understand what each person hopes to achieve allows him to develop personalised treatment plans and build genuine relationships with patients over time.
