Graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Otago in New Zealand, Dr Martin began his career practising in the rural region of Whangārei before relocating to Canberra. This experience provided valuable exposure to a broad range of dental treatments and patient needs, allowing him to develop a practical and patient-centred approach to care.

A strong focus on restorative and aesthetic dentistry allows Dr Martin to help patients improve both the function and appearance of their smiles. Particular interests include restorations, crowns, dentures, extractions and surgical extractions, with treatment recommendations tailored to each individual’s needs, goals and circumstances.

Creating a welcoming and judgement-free environment is particularly important to Dr Martin. Whether a patient attends regularly or has not visited a dentist for many years, he aims to ensure every person feels respected, informed and at ease throughout their appointment.

Away from the clinic, Dr Martin enjoys playing tennis, staying active at the gym, swimming, travelling and learning about history through books and exploring different cultures around the world.
